The Evangelical Lutheran Church in Florence

In 1899 he was born officially in Florence the first Evangelical Lutheran Community of German and in 1901 the architect Riccardo Maher designed the new Church between via dei Bardi. A tiny church on the imposing 19th-century lungarni. With its red and white facade is a bright spot of colour among the houses. The colours with which adorned the facade recall the Venetian Romanesque, with white marble and red brick. The Interior of the Church is very simple. We report on the front (three axes developed for three floors plus a mezzanine) there is a small shield with the arms of kinship in which appears the heraldic element of the wheel, perhaps referable to the Nasi family.
